Perhaps the biggest “hallelujah” moment of the announcement is the news that Carrie Underwood will be performing on the festival’s main stage at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium. Carrie has taken a break from appearances and performances since her freak accident back in November that left her with a broken wrist and dozens of stitches on her face.
We have missed you so much, Carrie, and can’t wait to hear you and see you back onstage!
Other notable additions this year to the Nissan Stadium lineup include Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Carly Pearce and Brett Young. Kelsea Ballerini, Chris Stapleton, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Jon Pardi, Brothers Osborne, Florida Georgia Line, Ricky Skaggs, Lee Ann Womack and the one and only Charley Pride will perform as well!
And y’all, we cannot even deal with the “Forever Country Stage” lineup. Our old-school hearts are about to burst. John Berry, David Ball, Blackhawk, Mark Collie, Little Texas, Terri Clark, Restless Heart, Lorrie Morgan, Shenandoah, Ty Herndon, Mark Wills are more are set to perform.
We may pass out from sheer happiness.
Also look for favorites like Charlie Worsham, Jerrod Niemann, Lee Brice, Scotty McCreery, LANCO, RaeLynn, Granger Smith and newcomers Jillian Jacqueline, Devin Dawson and the late Glen Campbell’s daughter, Ashley, to be performing as well on the Riverfront and Breakout Stages.
This is shaping up to be one heck of a CMA Fest, set for June 7-10. We can’t wait to see you all in Nashville this summer!
