It seems safe to say that anyone affected by the shooting in Las Vegas at the Route 91 Harvest Festival on Oct. 1 will never forget that day. But for some—especially those who lost loved ones, were wounded themselves or narrowly escaped with their lives, and those artists who were just there to give fans a great time—the memories are much more vivid.

Jake Owen was the fifth artist to perform that day in Las Vegas. Hot newcomer Tyler Reeve kicked off the day’s music, then Texas favorites Josh Abbott Band followed him. Kane Brown and Big & Rich took their turns before Jake, who was the last country star up before Jason Aldean headlined the show that night.

He doesn’t need to remember it. The day’s itinerary is still written on the door of his bus.

Jake, who has been incredibly pivotal in sharing details of the horror of that night, posted a photo of the bus door’s chalkboard on his Instagram page. On it, you can read his whole itinerary for the day: the times for load in, his interview time, when his meet-and-greet would take place and the 70 minutes for his show—8 p.m. to 9:10 p.m.

In the photo’s caption he explains, “Every day my tour manager/best friend writes down our day on our bus door chalkboard … We just got our bus back from Vegas and it’s still written on the door. I’ll never forget this day.”
