The man who gave us so many ’90s country hits has died

One of the guys who gave us some of our favorite ’90s country hits has died. Earl Clark passed away July 7 at his home near Nashville.

He’s best known for writing Tracy Lawrence’s 1993 chart-topping hit, “Can’t Break It to My Heart,” as well as Tracy’s top 10 hit from 1994, “Renegades, Rebels and Rogues.”
